GRAIN TRADERS HAVE A GROUPING

Grain traiders and commodity suppliers (GRATCOS) have launched a group which among other areas will see through establishment of guidelines and policies related to the trade. Speaking during the event held at Blantyre Lodges, Chief Executive Officer of the group Chris Wellington expressed joy that at least there is light at the end. "We have come a long way in as far as establishment of this group is concerned and we believe worries surrounding the business will now be taken care of" Wellington said. Wellington, excited. Among many other responsibilities, the grouping will strive in finding new markets for grain traiders that are registered with the group. The group has been duly registered by the business registre and have been granted a certificate upon fulfilment of the requirements as stipulated in the Act. BT SYNOD TRAIN YOUTH LEADERS.

The Synod of Blantyre on Monday trained it's youth leaders from various presibyteries of the synod at Grace Bandawe Hotel. Speaking during the leadership training, moderator of the Synod Rev. Masauko Mbolembole urged the trainees to be vigilant in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus and defending the integrity of the church by living uprightly. "You are the light and hope of the church,strong and able, therefore,preach the gospel and defend it's course,Mbolembole urged. Youth from different churches who participated the training Speaking at the end of the training,Mike Mbelenga commended the initiative as very important in the the drive to unleash dynamic leadership skills. "We will forever be grateful for the idea of having these trainings since will be reliable members and leaders now and in the future" Mbelenga appreciated.

ZIMBABWE FIRES 211 DOCTORS AND HIRES NEW MINISTERS

Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Friday fired more than 200 doctors who were striking for better pay but went on to recruit six new ministers for his cabinet. The new ministers will come at a huge cost to government, as they will receive handsome salaries and benefits at a time the country has refused to award doctors a meaningful increment, arguing that it does not have the money. On the same day, Mnangagwa announced the appointment of a new ministry as well as five new deputy ministers. At 25 ministers, 18 deputy ministers and 10 provincial ministers, Mnangagwa's cabinet could now be larger than that of President Cyril Ramaphosa. Zimbabwe has a population of 14-million, slightly more than a quarter of SA's population of 58,78-million.
